UNIVERSAL-FREE BREAKFAST PROGRAM: Broward County Public Schools will be piloting the Universal-Free Breakfast Program. This program will allow all students at QWE to participate in the breakfast program at no charge, regardless of the student’s meal eligibility. This program will begin on Monday, March 16 through June 4, 2015. If your child is eating breakfast they must enter the school cafeteria by 7:45 am.
DIGITAL 5 UPDATE: From Friday, April 10, 2015 - Thursday, April 30, 2015, fifth grade students are not permitted to take home their laptops. This will help ensure that computers are operational for the FSA tests.

LYONS CREEK MIDDLE SCHOOL will be hosting Saturday Tours at 9:00 am-10:00 am for any incoming sixth grader. Parents must attend with their child. Tour dates are as follows: March 14, April 11, May 9, and June 13.
ACCREDITATION: Broward County Public Schools is Florida's first fully accredited school system since 1962. This five year cycle will be up for renewal in the fall of 2016. As part of the renewal process, an acceditation team of educational experts will be completing a comprehensive review of the Broward County Public Schools system. Parents and students may also access the Code of Student Conduct Handbook through the BEEP Portal or use thier smatphones to scan the Quick Response Code (QRC) on any of the Code Book posters displayed throughout the school's campus.
